Choco Onslaught

Wednesday, February 8 – Tuesday, February 28

Everyone loves chocolate on Valentine’s Day, but so many people are sharing chocolate that it’s threatening to take over Maple World! NPC Cassandra is concerned about this threat and wants you to stop it by eating all the chocolate in the world. Players Lv. 33 and above can begin by accepting the quest ‘This Is the Age of Choco!’ from the event notifier on the left-side of the screen. Complete the guide quests to receive a Choco Syringe, a useful item for stuffing chocolate into your mouth.

Hunt monsters within your level range (10 levels below and 20 levels above) to receive Sweetheart Choco. Use your Choco Syringe to consume Sweetheart Choco, which increases your Choco Power, a special buff skill. Choco Power can be increased all the way to Lv. 250 and gives different stat boosts (Speed, Jump, ATT, DEF, etc.)  for different level ranges. Cacao Combo EXP orbs also give Choco Power during the event. You can check your Choco Power level with the Choco Syringe.

Be careful, though. Eating too much chocolate at once can trigger Choco Frenzy, which will cause you to lose Choco Power and spew a small percentage of the lost chocolates. If you trigger Choco Frenzy, however, you will be able to increase your Choco Power levels at an increased rate for a limited amount of time afterwards.

Because of all the chocolate in the world, the elite monsters have also become choco-crazed! Defeat these monsters to obtain the Golden Choco Tickets they drop, and then use a Golden Choco Ticket to take a trip to Choco World.

When you use a Golden Choco Ticket, you will be transported to one of three special mission maps. In Choco Crush, you must eliminate as many choco monsters as you can within the time limit to obtain Sweetheart Choco.

In Falling Choco, you must collect falling Sweetheart Choco while avoiding other falling obstacles.

In Choco-crazed Nue, you must defeat the boss, Choco-crazed Nue, to obtain Sweetheart Choco. Beware his Choco Breath attacks!

You can also complete daily missions and achievements to obtain various rewards such as a Chocolate Overload or Chocolate Emissions facial accessory, Chocolate Rain weather effect, EXP coupons, Golden Choco Tickets, Sweetheart Choco, Reward Points, Selective 4 Slot Coupon, and Choco Syringe Chair.

You can also receive a medal and title:

• Chocophile: Medal. Untradeable. STR/DEX/INT/LUK: +4. Weapon ATT/Magic ATT: +3.
• Choco Crusader: Title. Untradeable.

You can also purchase helpful items in the Maple Rewards Shop (located within the Cash Shop) to assist you during the event:

• Choco Digestive Aid: Drink this to have a 50% chance of preventing Choco Frenzy from being triggered by a Choco Syringe. Can be used one time.

• Matryoshka Choco Gachapon: Use this item to gain Choco Power +10 without the risk of triggering a Choco Frenzy. You may receive an extra Matryoshka Choco Gachapon item when you use it (up to 5 total).

• Bitter Chocolate: Eat this to immediately trigger Choco Frenzy regardless of your current Choco Power level.

Cassandra's Special Candy

Create some delicious candy this Valentine’s Day! Players Lv. 33 and above can begin by accepting the quest from NPC Ace of Hearts, located in the Event Hall. Hunt monsters within your level range (10 levels below and 20 levels above) to collect Colored Sugar and Decoration Ribbons. Once all items are collected, return to NPC Ace of Hearts to make White Day Candy. You can eat your White Day Candy to earn EXP, or gift it to NPCs to earn a White Day Gift Box! Open the White Day Gift Box to find rewards including White Day Heart Balloon and scrolls for it, a Mysterious Meso Pouch, 6-slot Herb or Mineral Bags, a Candyflower Chair, and more.

You can also find a Heart Balloon Damage Skin.

If you give White Day Candy to NPCs for three days during the event, you’ll receive a title!

Blackheart Day: Singles Army Unite!

NPC Cassandra wants you to take revenge on couples! Players Lv. 33 and above can speak to NPC Cassandra to begin. Hunt monsters within your level range (10 levels below and 20 levels above) to find a Monster Love Detector, which you can use to summon a monster couple, or even a Lovestruck King Slime!

Defeat the monster couple to receive exclusive Blackheart Day drops. Collect ten Lovey-Dovey Rings to exchange for a Singles Army Pendant:

• Singles Army Pendant: Untradeable, 30-day duration, Weapon ATT/ Magic ATT: +1.

Collect ten Heartbreaking Necklaces to exchange for a Singles Army Signet:

• Singles Army Signet: Untradeable, 30-day duration, STR/DEX/INT/LUK: +1.

Monsters also drop Amorous Communiques which gives you a random amount of Singles Points. If you collect enough Singles Points, you can exchange them for medals or a Single Serving Chocolate Chair!

You can also exchange Singles Points for a Lovely Damage Skin or Dried Out Damage Skin.

Monster couples sometimes drop Blackheart Delivery Cases, which contain scrolls to enhance your Singles Army Pendant or Signet, Mysterious Meso Pouches, and restorative items.

The Lovestruck King Slime drops a special King Slime Box, which you can open to receive an Advanced Equip Enhancement Scroll or Mysterious Meso Pouch. If you continue opening these boxes after having obtained three of these rewards, you’ll receive 1000 Singles Points instead.

Cassandra's Dating Advice

What’s your fortune in love? Players Lv. 33 and above can talk to NPC Cassandra to receive a Lovestruck Crystal Ball upon starting the event. Stay logged into the game for 30 minutes to turn the Lovestruck Crystal Ball into a Shiny Lovestruck Crystal Ball to complete the quest and receive a reading about your love life. You will also receive a buff:

• If you are Lv. 33 to Lv. 70: Spring Popularity Lv. 1: Untradeable. Weapon ATT/Magic ATT: +20. Speed +40. Buff lasts for 15 minutes.
• If you are Lv. 71 to Lv. 100: Spring Popularity Lv. 2: Untradeable. Weapon ATT/Magic ATT: +30. Speed +40. Buff lasts for 15 minutes.
• If you are Lv. 101 or above: Spring Popularity Lv. 3: Untradeable. Weapon ATT/Magic ATT: +40. Speed +40. Buff lasts for 15 minutes.
• You may randomly receive the buff Rising Star of a One Man Army: Untradeable. 1.3x EXP from monsters for 15 minutes.

Monsters have been stocking up on Valentine’s Day chocolate! Accept the quest from the star notifier on the left-side of the screen and hunt monsters within your level range (10 levels below and 20 levels above) to collect 100 pieces of Sweet Chocolate. Turn them in to NPC Cassandra to receive ten Mana Elixirs and a Valentine's Day Box, which gives a random reward such as a Mastery Book 20, Advanced Equip Enhancement Scrolls, Potential Scrolls, and various potions and restorative items!

NPC Cassandra has another job for you! Speak to her to receive a Valentine's Day Chocolate. You must stay logged into the game for 30 minutes to make it transform into a Love-Filled Valentine's Day Chocolate. Once it transforms, you can receive a Sweet V Chocolate Buff! The buff has different stats for characters of different level ranges.

• If you are Lv. 33 to Lv. 70: Sweet V Chocolate Lv. 1: Untradeable. Weapon ATT/Magic ATT: +20. Speed +40. Buff lasts for 30 minutes.
• If you are Lv. 71 to Lv. 100: Sweet V Chocolate Lv. 2: Untradeable. Weapon ATT/Magic ATT: +30. Speed +40. Buff lasts for 30 minutes.
