Look out! Some Elite Monsters are transforming into the freaky Frankenbalrog. Players Lv. 33 and above can accept the quest ‘[12th Anniversary] Defeat Frankenbalrog!’ to begin. Take down this creepy creature when it appears, and it will reward you with a Maple Anniversary Equipment Box! Open the box to receive one random equipment item from the past eleven anniversaries. Frankenbalrog may also drop Spell Traces, restorative items, trait items, or a Freaky Frankenbalrog Summoning Sack. When you use the sack in Henesys or Leafre, you can summon another Frankenbalrog.

Defeat this monster to receive additional rewards, including the chance to get a Frankenbalrog Chair!

Bizarre Balloon Bonanza

Everyone needs balloons at a party! Accept the quest ‘[12th Anniversary] Bizarre Balloon Bonanza’ from the event notifier on the left-side of the screen. Collect Weird Helium Gas by hunting monsters within your level range (10 levels below and 20 levels above), and use it to fill up three different monster-shaped balloons. Use the Monster Balloon UI to keep track of how full your balloons are becoming! Once a balloon is fully inflated, click the “Receive Gift” button to receive rewards such as a random item from the Slime Balloon, mesos from the Orange Mushroom Balloon, and EXP from the Pink Bean Balloon. Blow up the Slime Balloon and receive one random item including Spell Traces, scrolls, trait items, Balloon Medal of Honor (5000), or Mysterious Meso Pouches.

Keep collecting Weird Helium Gas because you can inflate the balloons multiple times per day! If you blow up enough balloons during the event period, you can get special prizes such as monster-themed facial accessories, 12th Anniversary Coins, and a Wild Bean Balloon Mount!

Maple Anniversary Museum

Are you a collector? The Maple Anniversary Museum has opened and its curator, Pink Bean, is requesting donations! In order to create a complete collection of historic Anniversary items, you’ll need to help him out. Players Lv. 33 and above can accept the quest ‘[12th Anniversary] Maple Anniversary Museum’ from the museum icon within the event notifer on the left-side of the screen. Hunt monsters and complete anniversary events to find equipment from the past eleven anniversaries. Items with a sparkly maple leaf icon can be donated to the Maple Anniversary Museum.

You can donate your items by dragging and dropping them into the Museum window. Once you donate an item, you will not be able to use it again so please double-check before donating. You can also enlist Pink Bean’s help! Double-click on an item you don’t have, and Pink Bean will acquire it for you and mark it as collected (this can be done up to three times per day).

Keep track of how many items you’ve donated, and try to complete each category to receive prizes! Rewards include 12th Anniversary Coins, Spell Traces, Selective Slot Coupons, and a Lovely Damage Skin.

Complete all of the categories to receive a special medal! The Maple Memorabilia Collector medal gives STR/DEX/INT/LUK +13, MaxHP/MaxMP +300, Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +7, Weapon DEF/Magic DEF +100.

12th Anniversary Box

Hunt monsters within your level range (10 levels below and 20 levels above), and they may drop a 12th Anniversary Box! If you’re Lv. 33 and above, you can open the box to find some great items such as a Pink Bean Transformation Potion, 12th Anniversary Coins, or a Gold Potential Stamp. Other items include scrolls, Spell Traces, trait items, and restorative items.

Maple Rain

Maple Leaves are falling on my head! Visit Henesys and Leafre during a Maple Leaf shower to collect 12th Anniversary Maple Leaves. It rains in both towns at 13 minutes past the hour between 10 AM UTC (3 AM PDT) and 10 PM UTC (3 PM PDT).

Take your leaves to NPC Cassandra and donate them to either Henesys or Leafre, depending on which town you support! You can collect up to 30 leaves per rain shower, and each leaf is worth 100 points. Earn enough points to get special rewards! Please note you can only earn 10,000 points per day.

3,000 Points: 12th Anniversary Coins (x30)
5,000 Points: Henesys Damage Skin or Leafre Damage Skin

100,000 Points: 12th Anniversary Coins (x50)
150000 Points: Henesys Chair or Leafre Chair

Anniversary Achievement Avalanche

Can you complete all of the anniversary-themed achievements? Click the achievement notifier on the left-side of the screen to check your progress. Achievements are shared across all characters in the same world. Perform actions such as logging in during a special Thursday event, defeating Frankenbalrog, obtaining the town chairs from the Maple Rain event, making monster-shaped balloons, and completing your Maple Anniversary Museum. Each time you complete one of these achievements, you’ll receive 12th Anniversary Coins.

When you fulfill all of the achievements, you’ll receive the Thursday the 12th title! It gives the following limited-time stats for 30 days: STR/DEX/INT/LUK +50, MaxHP/MaxMP +2000, Weapon ATT +20, Weapon DEF +100, Boss ATT +30, and Ignore Damage +30.
