RE:ZERO EVENTS

Re:ZERO Attendance Check Event

May 11 – June 7
This event starts after the update on May 11, and ends at 1:00 AM PDT.

Requirement: Lv. 33 and above

• NPC Emilia has arrived in MapleStory and needs your help dealing with this unfamiliar place. Help her out by completing daily quests.
• Accept the quest ‘[Re:ZERO] A Girl From Another World’ to begin.
• Accept each day’s quest from NPC Emilia.
• Each daily quest has certain actions and choices you can make, and if you choose incorrectly, you will die and have to start the quests over again from day 1!
• However, when you die, you’ll also receive a special buff that increases Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +30 and Critical Rate +20% for 30 minutes.
• Once you successfully complete all the daily quests, you can begin the quests again, and earn different rewards.

Rewards:

• Complete each quest to earn one of five Re:ZERO gift boxes, EXP and mesos.
  • There are five different Re:ZERO gift boxes
    • Emilia's Re:ZERO Box: Open to obtain a trait-boosting item.
    • Betty’s Re:ZERO Box: Open to obtain a production material item.

Meso Market

[Updated May 12]

Requirement: To fully use the Meso Market, you need to have an account that is at least 15 days old, and be Lv. 60 and above

• Now you can buy Maple Points with mesos, or buy mesos with Maple Points!
• From any major town, select Quick Move and then select the Meso Market icon to enter the Meso Market. Alternatively, you can also access the Meso Market through the specific NPC in the Free Market.
• Prices for mesos and Maple Points are set by supply and demand, so that means you control the price you want for your mesos or Maple Points! There will be an average listing price so you can have a recommended price, and all transactions are instantaneous.
• As part of this feature, we have added Maple Point Coupons to the Cash Shop. These items can only be purchased with NX Prepaid, and allow you to get a certain number of Maple Points.

Bug Fixes

• The Honey Bee Chat Ring will no longer incorrectly state that it will expire after 30 days.
• The animation for the Black Force Shield will be fixed.
• Using the Pom Pom Pink Bean Chair with the Sparkling Face will no longer cause the character's face to disappear.
• The mini-map portals for the Shinsoo International School Hallway will appear in their proper places.
• The 'Thursday the 12th' title will now properly display the number 12.
• Players will no longer disconnect when opening the treasure chest after defeating Crimson Queen or Pierre in Root Abyss.

Mechanical Hearts

• Aspire has released their new line of Androids, the Wondroid! These new Wondroids are so close to humans, you may struggle to notice a difference. Always happy and always willing to help, the Wondroids are the next step in the Android world!
• However...at what cost do the Wondroids gain their human emotions? Explore the dark underbelly of Aspire and discover the horrendous truth!
• Team up with Spencer, Phoebe, and Sephia to rescue a multitude of Wondroids in a special mini-dungeon and investigate Aspire HQ in an effort to topple the evil conglomerate.
• During Rescue Mode, use the WonderLync system to attempt to bring Wondroids from the deepest depths of Aspire to the surface and rescue them!
• Be careful, because once inside and linked to a Wondroid, you cannot use any skills! Additionally, there are many traps and mobs that you will need to watch out for.
• During Investigation Mode, enter Aspire HQ on your own in order find out more about the nefarious organization.
• While inside, you will be besieged by countless enemies and dangers! While you fight your way though, you will earn Aspire Commemorative Coins from the monsters you defeat. Discovering the truth is no easy task!

Cassandra's Quest

  • You will earn more Dragon Boat Festival Coins!
• Cassandra also has a quest for those Lv. 13 and above. Hunt monsters within your level range (10 levels below and 20 levels above) to find the ingredients for her to create Zongzi
• If you're Lv. 33 and above and also part of a guild, you can earn Guild Contribution points by accepting a quest through NPC Leah.
  • Take the Zongzi you made with Cassandra and turn it in with Leah to earn Guild Contribution points!

Defeat the Moonlight Thief

• Finally for those Lv. 33 and above, a quest invitation will float above your character's head at the 45 minute of every hour between the hours 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM UTC.
• This quest will take you to a map where you have to defeat the Moonlight Thief before time expires!
• If you succeed, you can earn the following rewards.

Requirement: Lv. 33 and above

• Participate in the Jewel Crafting event to create powerful rings! If you have enough mesos, you can combine all of the rings to create a SUPER RING!
• A special NPC will appear in Henesys and Leafre that will allow you to purchase all of the materials necessary to craft the rings.
• Enter the Event Hall and look for the Magical Mortar Bunny to begin.

  • Increased spawn rate of runes along with decreased cooldown times for runes
  • Increased EXP buff effect from runes
  • Increased daily limit on Sudden Mission clears from three per day to six per day
    
  • Increased chance to meet the Bounty Hunter brothers, Pollo and Fritto

Override Mega Burning Project

This event starts and ends at midnight UTC.

Requirement: This event can only be started by characters created during the event period.

• Create a new character, and choose to select that character as your 'Burning' character.
• The character will gain 2 additional level ups per one level up. This effect will last until the character reaches Lv. 150.
• Choose wisely, however, as you can only make one character a Burning character.

• 5-hour Snail pet
• Frozen equips
• Mastery Books

Override Attendance Check

• Log in each day and accept the Attendance Check event through the star notifier on the left side of the screen.
• Defeat 300 monsters within your level range (10 levels below and 20 levels above) to obtain each day’s reward.
• Each day's attendance check resets at midnight UTC.
• This event can be completed once per day per world.

Override Hot Week

The Hot Week times are 1:00 AM to 1:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).

Requirement: Lv. 33 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• During the event period, log in and click the gift box icon on the left side of the screen to receive a Gift Box, and then double-click the box in your inventory to open it.
• The Gift Box can be obtained once every day until 1:00 AM PDT, and can be opened until 2:00 AM PDT / 5:00 AM EDT / 11:00 AM CEST / 7:00 PM AEDT. If you have more than 15 unclaimed gifts, you may not be able to see the Hot Week reward. Please clear any unclaimed gifts and login again to see the Hot Week reward.
• If you obtain a Gift Box every day from Monday to Saturday, then on Sunday—in addition to Sunday's reward—you can select another gift! You can select one from all of the items that were given out from Monday to Friday. You are not required to have received each day’s Gift Box on the same character in order to be eligible for the extra gift, but it does have to be with characters in the same world (multiple worlds in World Alliances don't count).
