Event Details:

  • Enjoy the missions and rewards prepared by Wonky the Fairy!
  • Requirements: Lv. 101 and above characters (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2) that have completed the "[Hyper Ignition] The Party Continues!" quest.
  • You can start the event and daily mission via the event notifier on the left side of the screen or by speaking to Wonky the Fairy located in major towns.
  • The daily mission can be done once a day per world.
  • You can complete the mission via the quest notifier 15 minutes later and claim a reward of your choice from the list below.
  • Complete the daily mission multiple times for additional rewards.

MapleStory Hyper Ignition Events

Event Details:

  • Get ready to collect letters of the alphabet to spell our related MapleStory Event terms for rewards!
  • Requirements: Lv. 101 and above characters (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2) that have completed the "[Hyper Ignition] The Party Continues!" quest.
  • Defeat enemies within your level range (20 levels below and 20 levels above) to receive the Flame Alphabet Box or the Alphabet Box.
  • Open each box to receive letters of the alphabet according to the box’s type.
  • Use the letters of the alphabet you receive to complete specific words.
  • Defeat weekly bosses to receive Blake's Selection Box to select letters of the alphabet of choice.
  • You can exchange 5 letters of the alphabet that you have to get a new letters of the alphabet from the letters of the alphabet tab of the UI.
    • Note: You could get the same letters of the alphabet as the ones used in the exchange.
  • [Hyper Ignition Point Caution]
    • Hyper Ignition Points can be exchanged with more EXP if the level is higher.
    • If you're exchanging multiple Hyper Ignition Points, the max amount of Hyper Ignition Points required for a character to grow to the next level can be exchanged at once.
    • You get the same amount of EXP that you can get at Lv. 260 if you are Lv. 260+.
    • Burning World Leap does not carry over the Hyper Ignition Points or the Mini-game achievements.

MapleStory Hyper Ignition Events

  • It's time for some Mini-games and Mike's got you covered!
  • Talk to Flaming Mike in the Hyper Ignition map to access the Mini-game Lounge.
  • The mini-game available will change every 15 minutes, but you can play the Challenge Mini-game anytime.
  • Competition Mini-games:
    • One Card
      • Starts every hour on the dot.
      • Each hero will receive 7 cards when the game starts.
      • On your turn, you can select and play one card of the same color or number as the card placed in the center.
        • The cards that you can play will light up.
      • If you have no cards you can play, click the cards in the center to draw one.
      • You win by getting rid of all cards in your hand.
        • The character to get rid of all the cards the fastest is determined as the first place. The other characters will be ranked based on the remaining cards.
        • If you have 17 or more cards, you will automatically lose.
        • Cards are made up of regular cards, magic cards, attack cards, and knight cards.
        • Attack cards cannot be blocked with a weaker attack card.
      • 1st: 200 Hyper Ignition Points.
      • 2nd: 100 Hyper Ignition Points.
      • 3rd: 75 Hyper Ignition Points.
      • 4th: 50 Hyper Ignition Points.
    • Monster Pyramid
      • Starts every hour at the 30-minute mark.
      • In Monster Pyramid, there are a total of 36 glass cups filled with monsters.
      • Three heroes are distributed with 12 glass cups each when the game begins.
      • When it's your turn, you can select 1 cup to stack it on top of another cup of the same shape.
        • However, glass cups can be placed regardless of type on the first level.
        • Special cups can be stacked on top of any cup, regardless of shape, but no cups can be stacked on top of a special cup.
      • Earn points per every glass cup that is used.
        • If the score is a tie, whoever reached the score first is ranked higher.
      • The round ends if there is a hero that placed all of their glass cups in the pyramid, or if nobody can place glass cups anymore.
      • There are a total of 3 rounds. When all rounds finish, ranks are determined based on the final amount of points.
      • 1st: 200 Hyper Ignition Points.
      • 2nd: 100 Hyper Ignition Points.
      • 3rd: 50 Hyper Ignition Points.
    • Supernatural Yut
      • Starts every hour at the 15-minute mark.
      • You are given 2 one-time supernatural powers when the game starts.
        • Supernatural abilities can be used once per each turn, before throwing the Yut
      • Throw the Yut on your turn and move your pieces along the designated path based on the Yut results.
      • If you get a four or a five after throwing the Yut, or if you capture an opponent's piece, you can throw the Yut one more time.
      • You win if you get all 4 of your pieces to the goal first within the time limit.
      • Win: 150 Hyper Ignition Points.
      • Draw: 100 Hyper Ignition Points.
      • Lose: 50 Hyper Ignition Points.
    • Reverse Battle
      • Starts every hour at the 45-minute mark.
      • Start game with either Slime or Pink Bean when you enter the game.
      • Slime places the stone first and then you take turns placing stones.
      • When you place a stone on your turn, flip over all stones of the opponent between the stone you just put down and the stone that was already placed, and they will be yours.
      • Flip the opponent's stone to reduce their HP, and you will win if you make their HP reach 0.
        • The game will end if there are no more places to put the stone within the time limit or if one player's HP reaches 0.
      • Win: 150 Hyper Ignition Points.
      • Draw: 100 Hyper Ignition Points.
      • Lose: 50 Hyper Ignition Points.
  • Challenge Mini-games:
    • Up and Down Seesaw
      • Hero and Wonky the Fairy begin the seesaw upon entering the mini-game.
      • Press the Interact/Harvest key when the arrow reaches the yellow area of the gauge, to successfully jump.
        • As the jump count increases, the seesaw speed will increase and the yellow area will decrease.
      • Earn points per successful jump, and earn higher points for increasing the number of successes.
      • Failing the jump, or successfully jumping 40 times will end the game.
      • Earn Hyper Ignition Points upon successful jumps.
        • 1 Hyper Ignition Point per 40 game points.
        • Max 100 Hyper Ignition Points.
    • Ignition Party Column
      • Floors will appear one by one on the side, when the Ignition Party Column begins.
      • You can stack the floor that appears by pressing the Space key. (However, you must stack the floor within a certain range of the floor that was stacked immediately before.)
      • Earn more points by stacking the floors higher.
      • The game ends when you go outside the range of the floor that was stacked immediately before. (Or, the game ends when you reach the 5 minute time limit.)
      • Earn Hyper Ignition Points each time you build up the tower.
        • 1 Hyper Ignition Point per 10 game points.
        • Max 100 Hyper Ignition Points.
    • Ignition Boat Rush
      • Ride the boat and use the left and right arrow keys to avoid the obstacles that appear.
      • There are a total of 3 lanes, and obstacles show up in 2 lanes.
      • Speed is gradually increased as the time passes.
      • Game ends when colliding with obstacles.
      • Earn Hyper Ignition Points per distance traveled.
        • 1 Hyper Ignition Point per 100m.
        • Max 100 Hyper Ignition Points.
    • Colorful Ignition Invitation
      • Send an invitation to DJ Selena.
      • Press the button of the same color as the invitation that appeared on the center.
        • A special invitation will appear in 3 different types and colors in Colorful Ignition Invitation, and the special invitation will keep its true form hidden until moments before sending the invitation out, and transform into one of the 3 types.
      • The Fever Gauge fills up as you send the invitations.
      • Once it's full, quickly press the Space key.
      • You can send the invitation faster.
      • Earn Hyper Ignition Points each time you send an invitation.
        • 1 Hyper Ignition Point per 800 game points.
        • Max 100 Hyper Ignition Points.
  • Game will automatically end if you do not play within the turn time limit.
  • Penalty will be applied if a set number of turns are played automatically, or you exit during the game. (Reward cannot be claimed and cannot participate in all mini game for 15 minutes)
  • Please exit by talking to NPC Flaming Mike in the exit map after the mini game has completed ended.
  • Hyper Ignition Points will not be transferred during Burning World Leap, and mini game achievements will not be maintained after Leap.
  • Depending on the game results, Hyper Ignition Points will be distributed upon exiting after playing the mini-game.
  • You can earn up to 300 Hyper Ignition Points a day per world.
    • Entry is permitted to those who earned all the available points of the day, but they cannot earn more points.
  • Lv. 200+ and Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2 can talk to Flaming Mike to exchange Hyper Ignition Points with EXP.
  • Talk to Flaming Mike after completing an achievement to earn set rewards per mini-game.
  • Achievement counts per mini-game will be applied per world, and each reward can be received once per world.
