NEW CONTENT: NEW 5TH JOB SKILLS

V Matrix Update

  • The V Matrix now grants a new skill slot every 5 levels instead of 6.
  • The maximum number of skill slots has been increased, and is now 14.

New Skills: All Jobs

  • Decent Holy Symbol: Temporarily gain extra EXP and items when hunting monsters. Does not stack with Holy Symbol.
    • Level 1: HP Cost: 2530, Duration: 183 seconds, EXP: +20%, Drop Rate: +14%, Cooldown: 180 seconds.

New Skills: Explorers

  • Warrior
    • Blitz Shield: Harnesses your own Lifeforce to create a protective shield. You can detonate this shield to inflict damage to nearby enemies.
      • Level 1: HP Cost: 2475, Creates a protective shield that blocks damage in the amount of 10% of your MaxHP for 5 seconds. When the shield expires or the skill is activated again, it detonates inflicting 520% damage to 12 enemies 5 times. Your shield must be active for at least 2 seconds before it can be detonated. Cooldown 15 seconds.
  • Magician
    • Unreliable Memory: Calls upon previously learned magic from memory. Results may vary.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 246, Uses one random skill or active Hyper Skill from 1st to 4th jobs. Ignores MP cost and cooldown of selected skill. Cannot trigger unlearned skills, Cooldown: 15 seconds. Passive Effect: INT +1
  • Bowman
    • Fury of the Wild: Temporarily infuses Phoenix and Frostprey with mysterious power for a devastating attack. Can only be used when either Phoenix of Frostprey are summoned.
      • Level 1: MP Cost 800, Duration: 40 seconds, Max Enemies Hit: 10, Damage: 465%, Number of Attacks: 6, Cooldown: 120 seconds.
  • Thief
    • Shadow Walker: Your stealth abilities have been heightened to their limit, allowing you to attack and use skills for a short period without breaking stealth. Shadow Walker's  stealth effect is not broken by attacks or skills. Attack is increased while stealthed.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 850, Duration: 30 seconds, Initiates a form of stealth that is not canceled by skills or attacks. Final Damage increased by 10% added on top of Advanced Dark Sight's Final Damage bonus, Cooldown: 219 seconds.
  • Pirate
    • Pirate's Banner: Hoists high the banner of the brave pirate, bolstering party morale and driving fear into the hearts of your enemies. You cannot be knocked back by enemy attacks while planting your flag.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 500, Summons a Pirate's Banner for 30 seconds. Boosts the stats of party members near the flag by 10% in any attribute they have assigned AP. Enemy DEF: -10%, Cooldown: 59 seconds.

New Skills: Cygnus Knights

  • Phalanx Charge: Summons brave Spearmen of the Cygnus Knights to charge enemies in a phalanx formation. The spearmen slow down upon touching an enemy. Press the skill key again to change their direction of movement.
    • Level 1: MP Cost 500, Damage: 468%, Number of Attacks: 41, Cooldown: 20 seconds. Spearmen disappear when the number of attacks is reached, they move a certain distance, or after a certain duration. Activate the skill again to change their direction.

New Skills: Heroes

  • Freud's Wisdom: Even in the darkest times, Freud could be relied upon for his wisdom. Call upon Freud's wisdom to steel your resolve and enhance your combat prowess.
    • Level 1: MP Cost 250, Duration: 30 seconds, Max Stacks: 6, Each stack provides and additional buff, Cooldown: 25 seconds. Cooldown increased to 240 when buff expires, or max stack count is reached.
    • Stack 1: Skill Cooldown: -30% seconds (excludes skills unaffected by cooldown reduction)
    • Stack 2: Knockback Resistance: +51%
    • Stack 3: STR/DEX/INT/LUK: +26
    • Stack 4: Weapon ATT/Magic ATT: +10
    • Stack 5: Boss Damage: +10%
    • Stack 6: Invincible for duration of skill

New Skills: Demons

  • Defender of the Demon: Summons loyal Mastema to fight by your side. Unaffected by attack reflection.
    • Level 1: Consumes 20% of Max HP to summon Mastema for 31 seconds. Cooldown: 150 seconds. Mastema uses the following skills at her own discretion:
    • Mastema's Claw: Max Enemies Hit: 8, Damage: 520%, number of Attacks: 8, Cooldown: 4 seconds.
    • Mastema's Mark: Damage Taken: -10% (including attacks inflicting damage proportional to Max HP), Max Uses: 2, Duration: 6 seconds, Mastema's Mark vanishes when duration ends or max uses is reached. Cooldown: 10 seconds.

New Skills: Resistance

  • Resistance Infantry: Summons a squad of Resistance infantry to blast the enemy with long-ranged attacks. Unaffected by attack reflection.
    • Level 1: MP Cost: 650, Duration: 10 seconds, Max Enemies Hit: 12, Damage 260%, Number of Attacks: 9, Cooldown: 25 seconds.

New Skills: Nova

  • Might of the Nova: Calls upon the deities of the Nova for the power to punish your enemies. Might of the Nova does not stack with Heaven's Door, and Heaven's Door takes precedence.
    • Level 1: HP Cost: 20%, Max enemies Hit: 15, Damage: 2080%, Number of Attacks: 10, Cooldown: 1200 seconds. Buff: After use, you are protected from fatal blows for 612 seconds.

New Skills: Sengoku

  • Sengoku Force, Assemble!: Calls upon brave Sengoku heroes for aid, randomly summoning two. Each warrior performs a unique attack. Unaffected by attack reflection.
    • Level 1: MP Cost 1000, Consumes HP for jobs that do not utilize MP. Summons two Sengoku warriors. Summon Duration: 30 seconds, Cooldown: 120 seconds.
    • Uesugi Kenshin: Damage: 260%, Max Enemies Hit: 8, Number of Attacks: 4, Ignore Defense +10%
    • Tsuchimikado Haruaki: Damage 165%, Max Enemies Hit: 8, Number of Attacks: 5, Damage Taken: -5%
    • Ayame: Damage: 450%, Max Enemies Hit: 8, Number of Attacks: 2, Critical Damage: +5%
    • Takeda Shingen: Damage: 220%, Max Enemies Hit: 8, Number of Hits: 3, Attack Power +6, Magic ATT: +6

New Skills: Warrior Jobs

  • Hero
    • Worldreaver: Unleashes a brutal slash that decimates all in sight.
      • Level 1: MP Cost 500, Combo Orbs Used: 5, Max Enemies Hit: 15, Damage: 832%, Number of Attacks: 7, Invulnerable while casting, Cooldown: 20 seconds. On hit, increases Final Damage for 5 seconds by the Final Damage bonus of the Combo Orbs consumed for the skill.
  • Paladin
    • Hammer of the Righteous: Summons a whirling bulwark of righteous hammers to strike down nearby enemies. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1 Passive Effect: Creates 1 spiraling hammer around you whenever you generate an Elemental Charge. Up to 5 can be active at once, and their duration is shared with Elemental Charge. Hammers automatically attack up to 4 enemies 2 times dealing 208% damage. Attack speed increases with the number of hammers.
      • Level 1 Active Effect: MP Cost: 1000, Augments Hammers of the Righteous for 30 seconds, Cooldown: 60 seconds.
      • Augmented Hammers: Max Enemies Hit: 8, Number of Hits: 3, Damage: 674% Damage.
  • Dark Knight
    • Radiant Evil: Evil Eye reveals itself and blasts nearby enemies. Only usable while Evil Eye of Domination is active. Unaffected by attack reflection. Skills that boost the damage of Evil Eye of Domination's affect this skill.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 450, Evil Eye appears in front of you, attacking up to 10 enemies 2 times, dealing 306% damage for 3 seconds, Cooldown: 20 seconds.
  • Mihile
    • Sword of Light: Focuses the power of your Soul Shield into the form of the legendary Sword of Light to strike down your foes.
      • Level 1: MP Cost 800, Max Enemies Hit: 12, Number of Attacks: 7, Cooldown: 12 seconds. Only usable while Royal Guard's Attack Power buff is active. Damage increases according to the number of that buffs stack. Resets Royal Guard's after use.
      • 1 Stack: Damage: 364%
      • 2 Stacks: Damage: 436%
      • 3 Stacks: Damage: 530%
      • 4 Stacks: Damage: 624%
      • 5 Stacks: Damage: 728%
      • 100% Chance to Blind enemies for 10 seconds, reducing their Accuracy by 30%. Duration halved against bosses.
  • Dawn Warrior
    • Rift of Damnation: Creates a rift between the world of the living and the Underworld when used with Styx Crossing. Attacks against afflicted enemies are unaffected by attack reduction or attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Disables Styx Crossing's cooldown for 30 seconds and sets skill to max charge, but reduces Final Damage by 40%. Reset Styx Crossing's cooldown upon use. Cooldown: 240 seconds. Attacking with Styx Crossing creates a rift to the underworld for 10 seconds. Continually attacking the area around the rift with Styx Crossing causes the rift to grow, and eventually shatter, dealing 2704% damage to up to 15 enemies 6 times. No more than 2 rifts can be open at once. After a rift shatters, you cannot create another for 5 seconds.
  • Aran
    • Maha's Carnage: Swings Maha around in a circle, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Only usable when Maha's Fury is inactive. [Command: Down, Down + Attack Key]. Effect: Prevents Knockback, unaffected by attack reduction and attack reflection. Right-click to lock command.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Max Enemies Hit: 15, Damage: 936%, Number of Attacks: 10, Cooldown: 20 seconds.
  • Demon Slayer
    • Spirit of Rage: Sacrifice all your Fury to conjure a malevolent serpent of pure rage. Attacks again before vanishing. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: Consumes 80 Fury and 15% of Max HP, Duration: 10 seconds, Max Enemies Hit: 12, Damage: 884%, Number of Attacks: 6, Cooldown: 120 seconds. On Disappearance: Max Enemies Hit: 12, Damage: 936%, Number of Attacks: 12. All hits receive Critical Rate: +100% and additional Ignore Def: +50%.
  • Demon Avenger
    • Demonic Blast: Sacrifice your own health to release an explosion of demonic energy. Can be used while Exceed is active. Charge the ability by holding down its key. Damage increases according to charge time. If you defeat an enemy or strike a boss with this ability, you will recover HP, ignoring Demonic Frenzy's recovery reduction.
      • Level 1: Consumes 1% of Max HP to attack up to 6 enemies. Consumes an additional 4% of current HP per second while charging. Cooldown: 10 seconds.
      • Lv. 1 (no charge): Deals 520% damage 7 times, restores 5% of Max HP
      • Lv. 2 (3-second charge): Deals 676% damage 9 times, restores 12% of Max HP
      • Lv. 3 (4-second charge from Lv. 2): Deals 832% damage 12 times, restores 20% of Max HP, Critical Rate +100%, Ignore Def +100%
  • Blaster
    • Gatling Punch: Throws a rapid barrage of punches out in front of you. Grants Enhanced Guard. Prevents Knockback, and increases Final Damage proportionally with number of hits.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 60, Max Enemies Hit: 10, Damage: 1040%, Number of Attacks: 6, Cooldown: 60 seconds. Deals 468% damage 5 times consecutively for up to 8 seconds while the key is held. Grants the Enhanced Guard effects of Charge Mastery and Combo Training with max stacks. Final Damage increases by 10% every hit up to 100%.
  • Kaiser
    • Bladefall: Your Tempest Blades rain down upon the enemy, oozing deadly magma where they land to incinerate enemies. Only usable with Tempest Blades summoned. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Each blade strikes for 520% damage 4 times and creates a pool of magma where it lands, Cooldown: 30 seconds. The magma hits up to 12 enemies dealing 728% damage 6 times. Final Form: Tempest Blades and magma's attack counts increase by 1.
  • Zero
    • Twin Blades of Time: Alpha and Beta attack together to demolish the enemy. Hold the skill key to perform a series of linked attacks. Immediately performs a final Joint Attack when Alpha and Beta's skills end, or when the key is released.
      • Level 1: Time Force Cost: 80, Max Enemies Hit: 12, Invulnerable while casting skill, Cooldown: 120 seconds.
      • Beta: 1st Hit: Deals 1820% damage 4 times, 2nd Hit: Deals 868% damage 12 times, 3rd Hit: Deals 3380% damage 4 times.
      • Alpha: 1st Hit: Deals 910% damage 8 times, 2nd Hit: Deals 868% damage 12 times, 3rd Hit: Deals 1690% damage 8 times.
      • Joint Attack: Deals 3120% damage 12 times, Ignores an additional 100% Enemy Defense
  • Hayato
    • Iaijutsu Phantom Blade: Delivers a series of unbelievably swift strikes, Successful strikes grant a buff that stacks up to 5 times. Usable during Sanrenzan, Blade Flash, and Shinsoku.
      • Level 1: Sword Energy Cost: 200, Successful hits grant a buff giving +5% Final Damage per stack for 15 seconds.
      • 1st Hit: Deals 670% damage to up to 15 enemies 8 times
      • 2nd Hit: Deals 770% damage to up to 15 enemies 8 times
      • 3rd Hit: Deals 890% damage to up to 15 enemies 8 times
      • 4th Hit: Deals 970% damage to up to 15 enemies 8 times
      • 5th Hit: Deals 1120% damage to up to 15 enemies 8 times

New Skills: Magician Jobs

  • Arch Mage (Fire/Poison)
    • Poison Nova: Releases a poisonous cloud that spreads in all directions, striking nearby enemies. You can detonate the cloud to inflict additional damage. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Creates a number of poisonous clouds that deal 520% damage 6 times, and inflict an additional 312% damage every 1 second for 10 seconds. Enemies can only be struck by one poisonous cloud. 2 seconds or more after poisonous clouds are created, you can use Mist Eruption to detonate them, hitting up to 12 enemies dealing 312% damage 6 times. Explosion damage from poisonous clouds may stack. Cooldown: 30 seconds.
  • Arch Mage (Ice/Lightning)
    • Bolt Barrage: Summons a wall of lightning that pulses forward, electrocuting enemies in its path. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Conjures 8 lightning bolts that attack up to 12 enemies, dealing 780% damage 8 times. The lightning moves forward as it strikes, but will continue to strike the same place if its path is blocked. Cooldown: 30 seconds.
  • Bishop
    • Angel of Balance: Summons an angel of balance possessing both compassion and vengeance. Not usable while Bahamut is active. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Summon Duration: 30 seconds. The angel's aspect depends upon whether Righteously Indignant is active or inactive. Cooldown: 120 seconds.
      • Inactive: Appears as the Angel of Benevolence. Grants a buff that recovers 10% of party members' Max HP every 5 seconds and increases their damage by 5% for 4 seconds.
      • Active: Appears as the Avenging Angel. Attacks up to 12 enemies dealing 780% damage 8 times. Attacked enemies are marked for 60 seconds. Dealing holy damage to those enemies consumes the mark and increases Final Damage of the attack by 50%.
  • Blaze Wizard
    • Savage Flame: Unleashes the true might of the Essence of Fire. Only usable while Fires of Creation is active. Attack varies based on the Fire Essence summoned. All the flames are consumed upon use and the attack is boosted in proportion to the number of flames consumed.
      • Level 1 Passive Effect: Gain 1 Flame Charge for each enemy struck that is afflicted by Ignition, up to 6 flames.
      • Level 1 Active Effect: MP Cost 800, Flame Cost 2+ charges, Cooldown: 20 seconds.
      • Blazing Lion: Hits up to 15 enemies dealing 1040% damage 12 times. Increases Final Damage by 35% for every Flame Charge over the minimum cost.
      • Flame Fox: Creates 8 foxfires that randomly strike 8 enemies within range. Each foxfire deals 260% damage and can regenerate up to 7 times. Regenerates 2 more times for each 1 Flame Charge over the minimum cost.
  • Evan
    • Dragon Slam: [Mir Skill] Mir slams down and savagely attacks the enemy. Unaffected by attack reflection. Mir's skills and fusion skills are not affected by effects that increase attack speed.
      • Level 1: MP Cost 1000, Max Enemies Hit: 12, Damage: 468%, Number of Attacks: 7, Duration: 2.5 seconds, Cooldown: 30 seconds.
    • Wyrmking's Breath: [Fusion Skill] Evan infuses Mir with his magic during Dragon Slam, causing Mir to briefly grow and release a blast of elemental energy. This skill advances alongside Dragon Slam. Unaffected by attack reflection. Activates when Evan uses Elemental Barrage while Mir is using Dragon Slam.
      • Level 1: Max Enemies Hit: 12, Damage: 624%, Number of Attacks: 7, Duration: 4 seconds.
    • Ludicrous Speed: [Fusion Skill] Mir immediately stops attacking and teleports to Evan, creating a vortex that deals damage to nearby enemies. This skill advances alongside Dragon Slam. Activates when Evan uses Return while Mir is using Dragon Slam or Wyrmking's Breath.
      • Level 1: Max Enemies Hit: 12, Damage: 156%, Number of Attacks: 3, Duration: 5 seconds.
  • Luminous
    • Aether Conduit: Summons a magic symbol that oscillates between light and darkness. The magic symbol changes depending on your light/dark state and is unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Summon Duration: 8 seconds, Max Enemies Hit: 10, Cooldown: 30 seconds.
      • Sunfire: Damage: 364%, Number of Attacks: 4
      • Eclipse: Damage: 260%, Number of Attacks: 5
      • Equilibrium: Damage: 353%, Number of Attacks: 6
  • Battle Mage
    • Altar of Annihilation: Summons an altar of destructive magic. Once two or more have been placed, the 1st altar fires an orb of deadly void energy that travels between the altars, decimating all in its path. Each orb can only strike a given enemy once until recharged by the next altar. The orb travels faster when additional altars are placed. Enemies hit are marked with a Dark Brand. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 500, Altar Duration: 20 seconds, Max Enemies Hit: 10, Damage: 832%, Number of Attacks: 4, Cooldown: 1.50 seconds. The orb takes 0.8 seconds to move to the next altar. After 2 altars, the time to travel that distance is reduced by 15% for every additional altar. A new altar can be summoned every 12 seconds, up to 4 altars. Enemies hit gain Dark Brand.
  • Kinesis
    • Mind over Matter: Conjures ultra-dense matter out of pure psychic energy, and pushes it towards the enemy. The matter inflicts damage more quickly as it accelerates. Using the skill again redirects the matter toward yourself, at a reduced speed. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: Psychic Point Cost: 10, Max Enemies Hit: 10, Damage: 520%, Number of Attacks: 5, Cooldown: 90 seconds. Attacks more quickly as object accelerates. While traveling towards you, object moves at 75% speed. Inflicts an additional 728% damage to up to 12 enemies 12 times when the object disappears.
  • Kanna
    • Spirit's Domain: Summons a Spiritstone that amplifies the abilities of you and your party. It grows more powerful as it absorbs mana. The effects of Spirit's Domain do not stack.
      • Level 1: Mana Cost: 40, Spiritstone Duration: 50 seconds, Cooldown: 220 seconds. Basic Effect: Deals 360% damage to up to 15 enemies within range 3 times every 3 seconds. Periodically restores 1% of Max HP/MP, Final Damage +5%, Status Resistance +20. The Spritstone grows more powerful with every 500 mana absorbed from the caster, boosting its Basic Effect up to 3x. When the Spiritstone is at full power, party members within range gain 2 Attack Speed, and the mana cost of the caster's skills are reduced to 0.
  • Beast Tamer
    • Cub Cavalry: Calls a herd of critter cubs to your aid. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Summon Duration: 10 seconds, Cooldown: 30 seconds. Summons between 4 and at most 8 groups of critter cubs, depending on the number of enemies within range. Cubs periodically attack 3 times dealing 360% damage. When time runs out the cubs attack, dealing 780% damage to as many as 8 enemies 8 times.

New Skills: Bowman Jobs

  • Bow Master
    • Inhuman Speed: Active Effect: Causes you to attack so quickly you produce afterimages. Unaffected by attack reflection. Passive Effect: After performing a certain number of attacks while the skill is on cooldown, an afterimage is created that attacks for a short time.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 800, Duration: 3 seconds, Cooldown: 20 seconds. Fires arrows at set intervals dealing 312% damage 3 times to enemies within range of your afterimages. Passive Effect: Every 12 attacks performed while this skill is on cooldown, an afterimage is created that lasts 1 sec and periodically attacks enemies within range for 312% damage 3 times. Active and Passive Effects cannot trigger simultaneously.
  • Marksman
    • Split Shot: Magically enchants your arrows to explode as they approach the enemy, releasing countless more arrows.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 800, Duration: 60 seconds, Cooldown: 120 seconds. Landing a hit with Piercing Arrow or Snipe causes your arrow to split and attack up to 10 enemies, dealing 624% damage 5 times.
  • Wind Archer
    • Merciless Winds: Calls upon the Spirit of Wind to conjure deadly homing projectiles that track down your foes.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 500, Duration: 8 seconds, Cooldown: 10 seconds. Creates 10 enemy-seeking Spirit Arrows that deal 520% damage 3 times. If more than one Spirit Arrow strikes that same enemy, the final Damage of each additional arrow is reduced by 25%
  • Mercedes
    • Sylvidia's Flight: Ride into battle on Sylvidia, the majestic queen of unicorns. Activate once to mount, then again to perform a dash attack. Activate the skill while pressing Up to attack upward. The dash attack can be used from the air, and can be performed with the Jump key. You receive Ignis Roar at max stacks while riding Sylvidia, and some skills cannot be used.
      • Level 1: MP Cost 1000, Mount Duration: 30 seconds, Knockback Resistance: +100%, ATT: +5%, Damage Take: -25% (includes HP% Based Attacks) Cooldown: 180 seconds. Dash attacks deal 676% damage to up to 12 enemies 9 times.
  • Wild Hunter
    • Primal Fury: Your Jaguar unleashes the full fury of the wild to savagely hunt your enemies.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Grants invincibility for 10 seconds, Cooldown: 150 seconds. Primary Attack: Max Enemies Hit: 15, Damage: 1040%, Number of Attacks: 6, Primary attack occurs 3 times. Final Attack: Unleashes 12 attacks for 1560 % damage that have Critical Rate +100% and ignore 100% additional enemy Defense. Can be triggered immediately by using the skill before the Primary Attacks are complete. If not mounted, causes you to mount your jaguar.

New Skills: Thief Jobs

  • Night Lord
    • Shurrikane: Throws a massive shuriken said to be used by the thieves of old. Unaffected by attack reflection. Reduced chance of activating Assassin's Mark.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 800, Max Enemies Hit: 6, Damage: 260%, Number of Attacks: 5, Cooldown: 25 seconds. The huge shuriken flies forward striking foes, then spins in place dealing additional damage for 2 sec before disappearing. 20% of normal chance to trigger Assassin's Mark.
  • Shadower
    • Trickblade: Lures the enemy to attack before delivering a powerful counterattack. Unaffected by attack reduction and attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost 650, Cooldown: 10 seconds. If attacked by an enemy shortly after use, you will dash to either the enemy that attacked you or the nearby enemy with the highest Max HP, and inflict 1978% damage 7 times. Attack receives Critical Rate +100% and 100% additional Ignore DEF. If you are not attacked by an enemy, you will summon allies to attack from the shadows, hitting up to 10 enemies and dealing 572% damage 5 times.
  • Dual Blade

It cannot be injured, and vanishes when its duration ends. You can activate the skill again to swap places with the shadow 1 time. However, you cannod do this while in the air. Unaffected by attack reflection. Capable of triggering Mark of Darkness and Shadow Bat.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 800, Summon Duration: 30 sec, Shadow attacks from a fixed location, dealing 21% of the Final Damage of your throwing star skills. Activate again to swap places once per summon. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
  • Phantom
    • Ace in the Hole: Throws a razor-sharp card infused with incredible power that ricochets dangerously.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 800, Ricochets 20 times dealing 416% damage, before releasing the energy stored inside to strike up to 12 enemies for 1040% damage 6 times. If there are no enemies nearby when it ricochets, the card's magic is unleashed instantly. Cooldown: 15 seconds.
  • Xenon
    • Core Overload: Overloads your energy core, producing power in excess of your maximum storage capacity. You cannot recover MP while your core is overloaded. The increased capacity from overloading cannot be recharged by Amaranth Generator.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Consumes 1% Max MP +248 per second. Allows you to charge 20 additional Surplus Energy. Energy charging time halved. Final Damage increases by 1% per Surplus Energy charged. Use skill again to deactivate it. Extra Surplus Energy disappears immediately on skill deactivation. Generates plasma currents at random intervals that strike up to 12 enemies for 936% damage 6 times. Cooldown: 199 seconds.

  • Buccaneer
    • Lord of the Deep: Calls upon the spirit of the dreaded sea serpent that slumbers beneath the savage tides to wrap yourself in a deadly barrier that maims all foes who venture near. Unaffected by attack reflection. Can be toggled On/Off.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 300, Consumes 150 energy per attack, Consumes 30 energy when energy is fully charged. Automatically attacks up to 10 enemies dealing 416% damage 3 times. Cooldown: 3 seconds.
  • Corsair
    • Target Lock: Locks onto your targets, then draws your gun and fires upon them in rapid succession.
      • Level 1 Passive Effect: Focuses aim on up to 15 enemies within range whenever skill is not on cooldown. Aiming process resets if skill is activated when the target is locked.
      • Level 1 Active Effect: MP Cost: 850, Targeted enemies take 832% damage 4 times at +100% Critical Rate. Deals extra damage for Target Locks. Bonus stacks up to 3x. Cooldown: 15 seconds.
  • Cannoneer
    • The Nuclear Option: Shoots a ballistic missile in a curved trajectory to obliterate enemies in a wide range. While holding the skill key, press the Up or Down arrows to control the angle of fire, and release the key to fire. The missile does not strike enemies directly but deals sustained damage when it hits the ground and explodes.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, You have up to 5 sec to aim your shot. The skill is canceled if you fail to fire within this time. The explosion inflicts 1872% damage 5 times to up to 15 enemies. Cooldown: 30 seconds. Creates a patch of scorched earth lasting for 15 seconds on the lowest platform within attack range which inflicts 260% damage to up to 10 enemies.
  • Thunder Breaker
    • Shark Torpedo: Summons a deadly shark spirit that flies forward, attacking your foes. Can be linked with all skills except for Thunder and self-skills. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 500, Consumes 2 Lightning Charges. Fires a deadly spirit-shark that deals 572% damage 7 times to up to 15 enemies. Cooldown: 8 seconds.
  • Shade
    • Spiritgate: Opens a portal to the spirit world. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Duration: 40 seconds, Creates a portal that summons 2 spirits lasting 8 seconds. Up to 10 spirits can exist simultaneously. Spirits seek out nearby enemies to inflict 468% damage 3 times. Spirits then collide with the enemy, disappearing and granting them a debuff for 8 seconds. Attacks against an afflicted enemy gain Critical Rate +8% and Critical Damage +1%. Debuff can stack up to 10 times. Cooldown: 119 seconds.
  • Mechanic
    • Mobile Missile Battery: Launches a missile battery that fires a barrage of micro-missiles.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Launches a battery that fires 20 micro missiles at up to 15 enemies. Micro missiles deal 208% damage 5 times. Cooldown: 15 seconds.
  • Angelic Buster
    • Superstar Spotlight: A real superstar takes their spotlights wherever they go. Enemies, being unworthy of the spotlight, take damage under its rays, while your own abilities are boosted. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: Installs 3 spotlights that shine on you for 30 seconds. Each spotlight deals 416% damage 3 times to up to 15 enemies within its area. While you are within the spotlight, you gain Status Resistance +20, Critical Rate +10%, Knockback Resistance +20%, and Final Damage +5%. You receive a separate bonus for each spotlight, up to 3 buffs. Cooldown: 198 seconds.
  • Jett
    • Suborbital Strike: Calls down drones to blast your enemies with a graviton beam. Swap modes by pressing the skill key again after casting. Unaffected by attack reflection.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Summons drones for 42 seconds. The drones have two modes of operation, and you can switch between them every 3 sec. Drone attacks prioritize the enemy with the highest Max HP within range. Cooldown: 180 seconds.
      • Beam Splitter: The drones hover above 4 targets within range, and fire downward periodically dealing 210% damage to up to 8 enemies 4 times.
      • Beam Amplifier: Drones hover over 1 target within range and blasts downward periodically dealing 355% damage to up to 10 enemies 5 times.

Legion System

Requirements:
Three or more characters that are Lv.60 and above.
Three or more characters that have completed their 2nd Job Advancement.
The sum of your characters' levels must be 500 or above.

  • Create and manage your Legion by assigning members made up from the characters in your account.
  • Earn stat bonuses that are applied to all of your characters within the same world by assigning members to the Synergy Grid.
  • Participate in the Legion Raid with your Legion Members to take down boss monsters and earn Legion Coins that can be used at the Legion Coin Shop.
  • Members added to the Synergy Grid will automatically be sent to the Raid and will slowly take down the bosses over time.
  • Increase your Legion Rank in order to assign more members to your Synergy Grid. The more members assigned, the more stat bonuses and Legion Coins you earn.
  • This system is replacing Character Cards and Part-Time Jobs. Unclaimed Part-Time Job rewards will be removed.

Member Bonuses:

  • Member Bonus stats are activated by assigning characters to the Synergy Grid.
  • The stats given vary by the job of the character and the rank of the character.
  • The character ranks are B, A, S, SS, and SSS. These ranks are based on the character's level.
    • B: Lv. 60 - 99 (Lv. 130 - 159 for Zero)
    • A: Lv. 100 - 139 (Lv. 160 - 179 for Zero)
    • S: Lv. 140 - 199 (Lv. 180 - 199 for Zero)
    • SS: Lv. 200 - 249
    • SSS: Lv. 250

Grid Bonuses:

  • Grid Bonus stats are based on the location that Legion Members are assigned to on the Synergy Grid.
  • The Synergy Grid is broken up into 16 regions, each corresponding to a different type of stat: STR, DEX, INT, LUK, Weapon ATT, Magic ATT, MaxHP, MaxMP, Bonus EXP, Buff Duration, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Boss Damage, Ignore DEF, Knockback Resistance, and Abnormal Status Resistance.
  • The block shape for each character is based off of its job type (Warrior, Magician, Bowman, Thief, Pirate).
  • The size of each character's block is dependent on the character's rank (B, A, S, SS, SSS).
  • The shapes can be rotated to the player's liking for a better fit on the Synergy Grid.

Legion Rank:

  • There are four Legion Ranks and each rank is divided into five levels:
    • Nameless Legion (Rank I-V)
    • Renowned Legion (Rank I-V)
    • Heroic Legion (Rank I-V)
    • Legendary Legion (Rank I-V)

Legion Raid Power:

  • Your Legion Raid Power determines your power level against the raid boss dragons.
  • Your Legion Raid Power is determined by your assigned Legion characters' levels and Star Force.
  • You can earn more Legion Coins the higher your Legion Raid Power.

Raids:

  • Assigned Legion Members will automatically be entered into raids and constantly deal damage to the boss dragon to accumulate Legion Coins. This happens even if the player is not present in the raid.
  • You can enter the raid battle alongside your Legion Members to deal damage to the boss dragon and earn Legion Coins.
  • The HP of the boss dragon is divided into regular HP and shield HP.
  • Assigned Legion Members will always deal damage to the boss dragon's regular HP first and then the shield HP.
  • The player cannot deal damage to the shield HP. If only shield HP is remaining, the player cannot deal any damage.
  • Legion Coins are accumulated every time 100 billion cumulative damage is dealt to the boss dragon. Cumulative damage is updated every 5 seconds.
  • Any cumulative damage that is less than 100 billion is reset at 12:00 AM UTC.

‘A Better Maple’ System Changes

  • The EXP buff from the Pendant of the Spirit will now be displayed as a buff icon in the top-right of the game window. You can also check current bonus EXP that is applied, as well as check when the next level of the buff will be applied in the tool tip window when hovering over the buff icon.
  • The Damage Skin Storage UI will now ask for confirmation when changing Damage Skins.
  • You can now move to the Cash Shop even if you are attacked by a monster while out of combat.

Mu Lung Dojo Formidable Opponent

  • Mu Lung Dojo has even more floors for players to challenge! The Dojo has added 20 additional floors for a total of 63 floors.
  • Fight monsters such as Demolishizer, Scarlion, Cygnus, and more on floors 41-63!
  • On floors 41 and above, you can use potions freely except on the last floor.
  • With the exception of certain boss monsters, monsters have one of three personality types:
    • Some monsters move in close
    • While others attack from afar
    • Yet other monsters randomly teleport to keep you on your feet
  • With the exception of certain boss monsters, monsters also have one of several special skills:
    • They can attack faster or heal HP if you are inflicted with a status effect
    • They can revive and briefly become invincible before dying again

  • Help celebrate the return of the M-Forcers and Omega Sector!
  • Speak with Dr. Kim to receive various M-Forcer event skills:
    • Ranger Attack: Req. Lv: 30. Chance for an M-Forcer to appear when hunting enemies, dropping an additional 5,000 mesos.
    • Final Beam: Req. Lv: 60. Dr Kim’s special rolling cannon is installed and a laser is fired forward for a brief duration. Monsters destroyed by Final Beam will drop an additional 10,000 mesos.
    • Mesotron-X: Req. Lv: 100. Summon the giant robot Mesotron-X! Every time you press the skill button after summoning it, it will fire a laser in every direction. After a certain period of time, it will self-destruct, dealing additional damage to nearby enemies. Monsters destroyed by Mesotron-X will drop an additional 20,000 mesos.
  • In Reboot world, the additional mesos will be increased by 5x. You can only acquire 20 million mesos per character per day from these M-Forcer skills (100 million mesos per character per day in Reboot world).
  • Certain content’s monsters, including boss monsters, will not drop additional mesos.
  • The ownership of the additional meso drops is given to the character who dealt the most damage to the monster.
  • Mesos dropped from M-Forcer skills are not affected by meso acquisition rate boost, related Potential, or ability effects.

  • Visitors from Eluna have come to Maple World!
  • Hunt monsters to obtain Elunarium. There are 8 types of Elunarium that can be turned in or consumed for special effects.
  • Earn increased Weapon ATT/Magic ATT, Boss Damage, Ignore Enemy Defense, and Crit Rate!
  • Only 200 of each type of Elunarium can be obtained each day for a total of 1,600 units max per day. If you are unable to obtained 200 in one day, you can obtain more additionally the next day.

Rewards: Turn in 200 of each Elunarium to the NPCs in town to choose from one of the following rewards (once per day per world):

  • Hyper Teleport Rock: 1-day duration.
  • Pendant Slot Expansion: Untradeable, 1-day duration.
  • Mr. Wang's Storage Wagon: 1-day duration.
  • Miu Miu the Merchant: 1-day duration.

Otherworldly Luck

  • Visitors from Eluna have brought with them Otherworldly Luck!
  • When your character dies and revives, there is a chance that Otherworldly Luck will activate. This will be one of three effects - prevent EXP loss, respawn on the current map you died on, or freeze some of your buffs when you are revived.
  • These "wins" cannot be stacked.
  • The pertinent cash item will not be consumed (example - Safety Charm will not be used if the Safety Charm effect of Otherworldly Luck takes effect).
  • If you close the game before reviving, you cannot use Otherworldly Luck when you log in again.
