Celebrate Nexon America’s 13th Anniversary of MapleStory with out-of-this-world events! Visit different planets to take part in anniversary mini-games and collect Stardust. Every 100 Stardust will automatically become 1 Galaxy Star (tracked in a special UI, not in your inventory) which you can spend on exciting items at the Galaxy Star Shop! Earn special event skills at the Maple Galaxy Academy to help you hunt monsters and earn more Stardust.

Characters Lv. 33 and above can begin the events by speaking to NPC Kemdi in major towns and completing the quest ‘[13th Anniversary] Star Squad 13’. Blast off to each planet using the rocket portal located in Henesys, Leafre, and Nameless Town.

Planet Vita

Visit Planet Vita to receive special perks and benefits! Characters Lv. 33 and above can accept the quest ‘[13th Anniversary] Planet Vita: Star of Blessings’ to begin. When you arrive on Planet Vita you’ll be able to earn 3 Stardust every 10 seconds simply for hanging out. Vita is also a good place to perform Star Force enhancement. As you enhance, you’ll receive 1 Stardust for every 50,000 mesos of enhancement cost you spend. Even if the enhancement fails, you still earn the Stardust!

Receive a special star-themed effect message when you successfully perform a Star Force enhancement of 15 stars.

Planet Minel

On Planet Minel, you can participate in the Rail Rush mini-game! Characters Lv. 33 and above can begin by speaking to NPC Toonbo on Planet Minel and accepting the quest ‘[13th Anniversary] Planet Minel: Rail Rush’.

Ride through a tunnel in your mining cart and use the arrow keys to move the cart between the three rails. Aim carefully to avoid bomb obstacles in the path, or to collect groups of stars containing Stardust. Each clump of stars nets you 4 Stardust.

You will also receive a Rail Rush title to show off your rail skills. The title automatically displays your best record in the mini-game!

M-426

In space no one can hear you celebrate! When you arrive at M-426, your goal is to help as many aliens as possible get on board your ship in the Beam Me Up mini-game. To begin, characters Lv. 33 and above can speak to NPC Captain Putstrong on M-426 and accept the quest ‘[13th Anniversary] M-426: Beam Me Up’.

Multiple aliens are waiting in line to board your ship. As each alien approaches the ship, use the arrow keys that correspond to the color of that alien to bring it on board. You’ll earn points for each successful arrival, and you can receive 1 Stardust for every 200 points earned.

Keep an eye out for Fever Time when you can collect aliens of any color!

In addition to earning Stardust, receive a Veteran Space Crewmember title that automatically displays your highest score in the mini-game!

Aquaworld

On Aquaworld play a game of Reverse Battle with other players. Characters Lv. 33 and above can speak to NPC Puu and accept the quest ‘[13th Anniversary] Aquaworld: Reverse Battle’ to begin. In Reverse Battle there are two players, each with a different set of colored tiles. You need to set your tiles down next to your opponent’s tiles. If you sandwich their tiles between two of your own (vertically, horizontally, or diagonally), their tiles will flip and become yours! This also does damage. The winner is the player who gets their opponent down to zero HP first.

Earn 5 Stardust for every 50 damage you deal, and earn more Stardust depending on whether you win or lose.

Win: 600 Stardust
Lose: 300 Stardust
Draw: 400 Stardust

Planet Glacius

Visit the chilly Planet Glacius and get ready to destroy monsters in the Sub-Zero Hunt! Multiple players can visit at the same time, although each person will only see and hunt their own monsters. Characters Lv. 100 and above can begin by speaking to NPC Frappe on Planet Glacius and accepting the quest ‘[13th Anniversary] Planet Glacius: Sub-Zero Hunt’.

Use Galaxy Stars (which are automatically created with Stardust) to summon monsters within your level range (20 levels below and 20 levels above). You can summon up to 3,000 monsters per day (costs 30 Galaxy Stars). If you would like to hunt different types of monsters, speak to NPC Frappe. Please note that players who enter the map in a party will appear together, but the party will automatically be disbanded.

Take down all of the monsters and earn 120% bonus EXP!

Maple Galaxy Academy

Obtain special event skills that can used for hunting monsters and earning Stardust! Characters Lv. 33 and above can begin by accepting the quest ‘[13th Anniversary] The Power of the Stars’ from the event notifier on the left side of the screen.

You’ll receive three special skills in your ‘Beginner’ skill tab:

Starlight Explosion increases Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +10 and has a chance to grant you extra Stardust.

Use Stellar Staff to summon aliens to take down monsters for you!

UFO Raid causes a UFO to appear, and you can use it to shoot lasers at nearby enemies.

These skills can only be used during the event period. Use them to hunt monsters within your level range (20 levels below and 20 levels above) and earn up to 20,000 Stardust per day!

Galaxy Star Shop

As you collect Stardust, every 100 Stardust will automatically become 1 Galaxy Star which is tracked in a special UI, not in your inventory. Click the coin shop icon from the event notifier on the left side of the screen to head to the Galaxy Star Shop and see the exciting items available for purchase!

The shop is stocked with out-of-this-world items including:

Rings as well as stones, cubes, and jewels for modifying them:
- Vengeful Ring
- Reboot Vengeful Ring
- Vengeful Stone
- Vengeful Ring Cube
The new Maple Galaxy equipment set:
- Maple Galaxy Laser Gun Coupon: Permanent item, but has limited-time stats. Gives Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +3 for 30-days.
- Maple Galaxy Helmet Coupon: Permanent item, but has limited-time stats. Gives STR/DEX/INT/LUK +1, MaxHP +50 for 30-days.
- Maple Galaxy Space Suit Coupon: Permanent item, but has limited-time stats. Gives STR/DEX/INT/LUK +1, MaxHP +50 for 30-days.
- Maple Galaxy Cape Coupon: Permanent item, but has limited-time stats. Gives STR/DEX/INT/LUK +1, MaxHP +50 for 30-days.

13th Anniversary Achievements

Commemorate the anniversary with special achievements! Characters Lv. 33 and above can track their progress by clicking the achievements icon from the event notifier on the left side of the screen. Each time you meet a goal in one of the anniversary events, you’ll receive a varying number of Galaxy Stars. You can receive each achievement’s reward once per world.

Complete 5 achievements to earn the Star Squad 13 title: Untradeable. Permanent item, but has limited-time stats. Gives STR/DEX/INT/LUK + 50, Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +20, Boss ATT +30%, DEF Ignore +30%, MaxHP/MaxMP +2000 for 30-days.
