Assist Spiegelette with her Strawberry Farm and receive cute strawberry-themed items. Explore the newly designed server selection screen and world groups: Interactive, Heroic, and Seasonal. Help Gold Richie unlock his safe with a secret code to win unique goodies. Transfer your highly trained Burning characters into your desired world with Burning World Leap.   • The heroes from the anime KONOSUBA have joined the adventurers of MapleStory in this explosive crossover!
  • To start the event, select the ‘[KONOSUBA] The Appearance of a Strange Party’ quest within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen.
  • After completing the first quests of the event, you can view the guide quest and participate in various events.

Aqua's Cheer

Requirements: Lv. 101 and above characters (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Your character must have completed the ‘[KONOSUBA] About This Great Party’ quest.

  • It’s time to cheer for Aqua in a town near you!
  • Accept the ‘[KONOSUBA] Hopeless Priest’ quest from the star event notifier on the left side of the screen to start this event.
  • Players can receive either the ‘Aqua's Nature's Beauty’ buff or the ‘Axis Order Evangelism Time’ buff at the 30-minute mark of every hour by being in any of the following three major towns:
    • Henesys
    • [Updated 2/29] Cernium
    • Nameless Town
  • ‘Aqua's Nature's Beauty’ buff will be given at the 30-minute mark of every even-numbered hour and ‘Axis Order Evangelism Time’ will be given at the 30-minute mark of every odd-numbered hour.
  • The Aqua Medal will be given to those that receive the buff at least once in a day for 10 days during the event. If you've received the buff, the count will go up on the following day at 12:00 AM UTC.
    Daily participation resets every day at 12:00 AM UTC.

Rewards:

  • Aqua's Nature's Beauty: Grants EXP +15% for 30 minutes.
  • Axis Order Evangelism Time: Grants STR/DEX/INT/LUK +15, Max HP/MaxMP +1500, Attack Power/Magic Attack +15, Boss Damage +15%, and Ignore Enemy Defense +15%.
  • Aqua Medal: [Updated 3/1] Untradeable, Permanent. This medal will register in your Medal Collection. The medal grants the following stats:

Megumin's Explosion Magic

Requirements: Lv. 101 and above characters (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Your character must have completed the ‘[KONOSUBA] About This Great Party’ quest.

  • Team up with Megumin to create some explosions!
  • Accept the ‘[KONOSUBA] One-Track Wizard’ quest from the star event notifier on the left side of the screen to start this event.
  • Complete the ‘[KONOSUBA] One-Track Wizard’ quest and then the ‘[KONOSUBA] The Time of Awakening’ quest to earn the Strongest Magic item upon defeating 5,000 enemies near your level (20 levels below and 20 levels above).
    • You can obtain the Strongest Magic item once per day.
  • Using the Strongest Magic item will activate the ‘Megumin’s Explosion Magic’ skill.
    • Megumin’s Explosion Magic: This skill allows you to join forces with Megumin to deal additional damage and gain additional EXP for 10 seconds.
      • Deals 1,000% damage 5 times to up to 20 enemies. This attack activates every 2 seconds for the 10 second duration of this skill.
      • Receive additional EXP upon defeating enemies.
  • The Strongest Magic item will not be available in the following conditions:
    • Maps that do not contain monsters near your level (20 levels below and 20 levels above).
    • Special event maps.
  • You will receive the Megumin Medal when completing this quest 10 times.

Rewards:

  • Strongest Magic: Tradeable within account, 1-day duration.
  • Megumin Medal: [Updated 3/1] Untradeable, Permanent. This medal will register in your Medal Collection. The medal grants the following stats:

Darkness's Joyful Sacrifice

Requirements: Lv. 101 and above characters (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Your character must have completed the ‘[KONOSUBA] About This Great Party’ quest.

  • Don’t give up, Darkness is on your side!
  • Accept the ‘[KONOSUBA] Crusader with Strange Eyes’ quest from the star event notifier on the left side of the screen to start this event.
  • After completing the quest, you will receive the ‘Darkness’s Joyful Sacrifice’ skill.
    • Darkness’s Joyful Sacrifice: When receiving a defeating attack, you will be revived.
      • Fully restores your HP after reviving and grants invincibility for 10 seconds.
      • The skill can only be used once a day. Daily usage count resets at 12:00 AM UTC every day.
    • This skill activates automatically in boss maps (including practice modes).
    • The ‘Darkness’s Joyful Sacrifice’ skill gives you a 100% chance to survive when receiving a defeating attack.
  • You will receive the Darkness Medal when activating this skill 10 times.

Reward:

  • Darkness Medal: [Updated 3/1] Untradeable, Permanent. This medal will register in your Medal Collection. The medal grants the following stats:
    • 30-day Durational Stats: STR/DEX/INT/LUK +15, Attack Power/Magic Attack +15, MaxHP/MaxMP +750, Boss Damage +5%, and Ignore Enemy Defense +10% for a 30-day duration.

  • Try your luck with the Great Gift Boxes!
  • Accept the ‘[KONOSUBA] A Person with Only Luck’ quest from the star event notifier on the left side of the screen to start this event.
  • You can start the ‘[KONOSUBA] Small Fortune’ quest after completing the starting quest to receive a Blank Parchment.
  • Your goal is to stay online for 15 minutes while having the Blank Parchment. Once 15 minutes have passed, the Blank Parchment will change to Parchment with Know-How Written.
  • Turn in the Parchment with Know-How Written to complete the quest and obtain a Great Gift Box.
    • The Blank Parchment and Parchment with Know-How Written will disappear if you log out.
    • This quest can be completed 5 times a day.
  • You will receive the Kazuma Medal when participating in this event 50 times.

NEW UPDATES 

World Selection Reorganization

  • As mentioned in our Maple Memo: GMS Roadmap Q1 2024 post, we’ve created new names for the different groups of worlds that are reflective of your playstyle.
  • We’ve redesigned the World Selection Screen to display the world groups in a way that is more intuitive.
    • Interactive Worlds
      • Aurora, Bera, Elysium, Luna, and Scania
    • Heroic Worlds
      • Hyperion, Kronos, and Solis
    • Seasonal Worlds
      • Special limited-time event worlds
        • Ex: Burning World, Super Yeti X Pink Bean World, etc.
      • Note: The Seasonal Worlds group will only appear on the World Selection Screen when there is an event world active at the time.
  • The new group descriptions appear when hovering over the group UI on the World Selection Screen.
  • Kronos and Solis world icons are updated.
  • The following UI has been removed:
    • The speech bubble that appeared next to the world buttons on the World Selection Screen
    • The world information that appeared above the Channel Selection UI

[Updated 2/7] Instanced Sacred Power Hunting Zones

  • The following features will be kept on Heroic worlds' Sacred Power hunting maps until further notice:
    • The monsters that appear on the map will be instanced and not shared with other players.
    • The map can be used by up to 2 players simultaneously. Monsters will not be summoned to the third player that enters the map.
    • Elite monster, Elite Champion, and Elite Boss are not summoned.
    • Rune of Darkness and Rune of Riches are not spawned.
    • Party play will not be available on the map. If you enter the Sacred Power map while in a party, the party will be disbanded automatically.
    • If a character dies, the personalized monsters are removed. Even if you revive at the same place, you cannot reclaim the ownership of the monsters. You must re-enter the map to have personalized monsters once again.
    • Note: Other hunting-related features such as Combo Kill/Multi KO, Bounty Hunter, and Inferno Wolf will remain the same.
  • The following perk will be applied to all hunting maps until further notice:
    • Runes appear more frequently
  • The following perks have been removed:
    • Activating the Rune gives more enhanced EXP effects
    • Rune cooldown time reduced
    • Pollo, Fritto, and Especia Portals appear more frequently
    • Exiting from Inferno Wolf battle gives more EXP

NEW EVENTS 

Spiegelette's Strawberry Farm

February 7th (after maintenance) - February 20th at 11:59 PM UTC

Requirements: Characters between Lv. 101 and Lv. 259 (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

  • Fresh strawberry season is just around the corner and Spiegelette’s Strawberry Farm needs your help! Lend a hand at the farm and receive a hefty amount of EXP!
  • Accept the ‘[Strawberry Farm] Spiegelette's Strawberry Farm’ quest within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen or by talking to Spiegelette in Henesys, Nameless Town, and Cernium during the event.
  • Upon accepting the quest, a Fertile Soil item will start to drop when defeating monsters near your level (20 levels below and 20 levels above).
    • You can obtain up to max 100 Fertile Soil daily per world.
    • The amount of Fertile Soil obtained is shared within your characters in the same world.
  • After you’ve collected 100 Fertile Soil for the day, you can receive Daily Quest Rewards! You can check out the special reward details in the rewards section below.
    • Daily quests can be completed once a day per world.
    • Completing the daily quest does not consume the Fertile Soil item.
  • Once you’ve collected Fertile Soil, you can visit the Strawberry Farm by spending 20 Fertile Soil!
    • Your character between Lv. 101 and Lv. 259 must have accepted the ‘[Strawberry Farm] Spiegelette's Strawberry Farm’ quest to visit the farm.
  • Strawberry Farm can be accessed through the star event notifier on the left side of the screen or by talking to Spiegelette in Henesys, Nameless Town, and Cernium during the event.
    • There is no entry limit to enter the Strawberry Farm per world.
    • You cannot visit the Strawberry Farm in a party.
  • When you enter the farm, you can earn EXP by defeating 500 Ripe Strawberry monsters within 15 minutes.
    • Make sure you enter with the character you wish to receive the EXP with!
  • Ripe Strawberry monsters' HP and EXP amount will change based on the character’s level.
    • The amount of EXP provided upon defeating the monsters will change based on the character's level, up to Lv. 219. The amount of EXP given will be kept the same if your character is Lv. 220 and above
    • The monsters' HP will change based on the character’s level, up to Lv. 259. Their HP amount will remain at Lv. 259 if your character is Lv. 260 and above.
  • If you exit the map before defeating all monsters with time remaining, you can re-enter the map with the same character to defeat the remaining monsters before the progress resets at 12:00 AM UTC each day.
    • If your character reaches Lv. 260, you will not be able to re-enter even if you exit mid-way.
    • If you would like to reset the progress on the same character, you can use 20 Fertile Soil to remove the previous progress data and re-enter the farm.
    • If you would like to visit the Strawberry Farm with a different character, you can use 20 Fertile Soil to enter with another character.
      • In this case, the previous character’s progress data will still be kept until 12:00 AM UTC.
  • You will be moved out of the map when you have either defeated all 500 monsters regardless of the remaining time, or when 15 minutes have passed.

Gold Richie's Safe

Requirement: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

  • Who will be the Mapler to win Gold Richie’s riches?
  • You can start the event by accepting the ‘[Safe] Gold Richie's Safe’ quest in the star notifier on the left side of the screen or by talking to Gold Richie in Henesys, Cernium Square, or Nameless Town during the event.
  • You can obtain up to 400 Safe Tickets a day per world by defeating monsters near your level (20 levels below and 20 levels above).
    • These Safe Tickets are shared between your characters within the world.
      • Ex: If Character A obtains 310 tickets and Character B obtains 90 tickets, you can no longer obtain any more for the day because you’ve reached a total of 400 Safe Tickets (max daily limit).
  • You can obtain Safe Tickets (x100) and 2x EXP Coupon (15 min) (x2) by defeating 2,000 monsters near your level (20 levels below and 20 levels above) to complete the ‘[Safe] Gold Richie’s Daily Quest’.
    • This daily quest can be completed once a day per world.
    • The Safe Tickets obtained from this daily quest do not count towards the 400 Safe Ticket daily limit.
  • Guess the Safe Code
    • You can spend 100 Safe Tickets to guess the Safe Code by clicking on the Safe in Henesys, Cernium Square, or Nameless Town during the event.
    • Two rounds of guessing the Safe Code will be held every day.
      • Round 1: 12:00 AM - 11:59 AM UTC daily
      • Round 2: 12:00 PM - 11:59 PM UTC daily
    • Each round, all the duplicate Safe Codes will be removed from the list. Only unique numbers that don’t have duplicates will be counted, and the smallest number out of that list will be selected as the winning Safe Code.
    • If there isn’t a number that satisfies these conditions, there will be no winner for that round.
      • Ex: Registered Safe Code: 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 22, 44, 152
        • In the above case, “1” is the smallest number but there is a duplicate. Out of the other numbers which were only registered once, “2” will be selected as the Safe Code as it is the smallest unique number in the list of entries.
    • You can enter the Safe Code 15 times per round, and the same combination that has been registered in the same round before cannot be registered again.
    • You can only participate in one world per round.
      • Ex: If you've already submitted Safe Codes in Scania world, you cannot participate again in Bera world until the next round.

Requirements: Lv. 200 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Your character must have completed the Home tutorial quest.

  • For all you homeowners out there, it’s time to celebrate this new year by decorating!
  • Accept the ‘[Home] Querencia Greets the New Year’ quest in the star notifier on the left side of the screen to start this event.
    • This scenario quest can be done once per world.
    • While the quest is in progress, the character who started it can only be changed by going through the following process:
      • To change the character, use the 'Reset quest progress' option on the My Home UI to reset the quest. After resetting, you can use another character to start the quest from the beginning again.
  • After completing the questline, you will be able to shop for New Year’s-themed furnishings!
  • In order to obtain special New Year’s-themed furnishings, you can send your Caretaker to shop for them. You can select from the following:
    • Large Eastern Furnishings Pack
      • Shopping Time: 9 hours
      • Can obtain duplicates
    • Small Eastern Furnishings Pack
      • Shopping Time: 6 hours

BURNING EVENTS 

Burning World Leap

February 7th (after maintenance) - February 22nd (before maintenance)

Requirement: Lv. 150 and above characters created in Burning World. (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

  • Once your Burning World journey ends, it’s time to find yourself a new home!
  • Your characters will be moved to the Burning Leap Zone map after the maintenance where you can proceed with World Leap by talking to Mover.
  • You can move up to 5 characters that meet the following requirement:
    • Your characters, regardless of whether they are a ‘Burning’ character or not, must be Lv. 150 and above to World Leap. (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2)
  • Characters can ONLY be transferred to Aurora, Bera, Elysium, Luna, and Scania worlds. You can only transfer within your region.
  • You may send your Burning World characters all to the same world, or to different worlds.
  • You can move the character even if you don’t have an empty character slot in the world you chose.
    • If you have reached the max character limit in the world you chose, you will have to delete a character first and create an empty slot before moving your Burning World characters to that world.
    • If the world you chose has empty character slots, one of the open character slots will be used.
  • The Sunlight Coin Shop, Wind Coin Shop, and Meso Shop's item quantity limit will be based on that of the leaped world.
  • The leaped character will have the Sunlight Coin and Wind Coin amount of the leaped world.
    • Sunlight Coins and Wind Coins cannot be used in the Burning Leap Zone map. Please make sure to use your coins prior to February 7 (before maintenance).
  • Your character must leave or disband their Guild before proceeding with World Leap.
    • When you talk to Mover, you will be given an option to Disband the Guild or the Alliance. You can also use the Guild UI to leave the Guild.
  • Your character's equipped items, inventory, and mesos will be transferred with your character.
  • Items in your Cash Shop Inventory, Storage, Auction House, and mail will not be moved. Please remember to move these items to your inventory before World Leap.
  • Characters that don't transfer within the World Leap period will be removed.
  • All mesos, items, and cash items owned by the character that didn't transfer will be removed.
  • Any meso or Maple Points that’s being traded in the Meso Market will not be transferred during a World Leap.
    • Please request a World Leap after completing all registered trades.

End Of Jett Open Advancement

  • All remaining Jett characters have been converted to the Beginner (Explorer) Job.
  • The Jett Legion Block will be removed from legion presets.
  • Jett Secondary Weapons and Star Dust will no longer be obtainable.
    • Previously acquired Secondary Weapons will not be removed.
  • As mentioned in a previous Maple Memo, the rankings will be changed as follows:
    • Jett will be removed from the Explorer Job rankings section and added to the Classic Rankings section. This new “Classic Jett” rankings will no longer be updated, but instead serve as a remembrance of the dedication and hard work you Maplers have put into Jett characters.
    • At the end of the Jett Job Advancement to Explorer Event, the existing Beginner rankings will remain, but we will be adding a new Beginner rankings section to exclude any of the Jett characters that were converted to Beginners.

  • During the event period, click on the Fairy Bros icon within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen to access the UI.
  • Your attendance will count when you click the check-in button after your daily cumulative login time reaches 1 hour. Login time will only accumulate when you are logged in with a character Lv. 101 and above.
  • You will receive rewards every 7th time you have completed the attendance.
  • If you have missed attendance, you have the option to use the Golden Pass.
    • Golden Pass can provide attendance checks for the price of 3,000 Maple Points.
    • One Golden Pass usage can check off 1 attendance and it can only be used up to the number of incomplete attendance days as of the previous day’s record.
